How to use PartyPhoto
From creating an account to downloading your photos afterwards — below you'll find a step-by-step walkthrough of how PartyPhoto works, with screenshots of every screen.

Create an account
Go to the website and click "Sign up". Enter your email address and a password. There's nothing else to confirm — you can continue right away after creating your account.
Log in to your dashboard
After signing up (or on a later visit via "Log in") you land in your personal dashboard. This is where you'll see all your parties in one overview, along with the status of each one.
Create your party
Click "New party" in the menu bar. Give your party a name (for example the names of the couple or the title of the event) and choose the date and start time. Note: a party lasts a maximum of 12 hours from the start time, and you can still change the date and time as long as the party hasn't started yet.
Pay via iDEAL
After creating your party you're redirected to Mollie to make a one-time payment of €29 via iDEAL. As soon as the payment succeeds, your party is activated automatically and your unique screen link, upload link and QR code appear.

View your party dashboard
On the party page you'll find everything in one place: the QR code to download or print, the screen link (for the TV/projector) and the upload link (for guests). You can also add up to 5 photos yourself here, even before the party starts.
Print or share the QR code
Download the QR code and put it on table cards, a flyer or a table stand. Guests scan this code with their phone camera — no app or account required.
Open the screen link on your TV or projector
Open the screen link in a browser on a laptop, smart TV or media player connected to your screen, and switch to fullscreen (F11 in most browsers). As long as the party hasn't started yet, or no photos have come in, you'll see a large QR code with instructions. Guest uploads open automatically 30 minutes before the start time.
Guests upload their photos
Guests scan the QR code, choose a photo from their phone and can optionally add their name and a message. After sending, they get a confirmation that their photo will appear on the screen shortly.
During the party: live on the screen
New photos appear on the screen within seconds, along with the guest's name and message (if provided). Photos automatically cycle throughout the evening, so every photo comes back multiple times. The QR code stays visible in the bottom right so new guests can always join in.
After the party: download everything
Go back to your party page in the dashboard. At the bottom under "All photos" you'll find the "Download all as ZIP" button. This packages all uploaded photos together with a text file listing all names and messages per photo. This way everything is safely stored, even after the party has ended.
Managing photos
In the dashboard you can click any photo to view it full-size, navigate between photos with the arrow keys, and remove unwanted photos with the trash icon.
Frequently asked questions
How long does my party stay active?
A party is active for a maximum of 12 hours from the start time. After that, uploading closes automatically, but you can always still download the photos.
Can I still change the date after creating the party?
Yes, as long as the start time is still in the future. Once the party has started, this is no longer possible.
Do guests need to install an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and upload directly through the browser, without an account or app.
Can I still delete a paid party?
No, a paid party can no longer be deleted. A party that hasn't been paid for yet can always be deleted.
What language do my guests see the pages in?
Guests always see the language you set as the organizer, regardless of their own browser language — keeping things consistent for everyone at the party.
